Kinder 2 and Kinder 3
At Smartium International School, our innovative Kinder program allows students to transform their formative experiences into real-world contexts. This facilitates the achievement of meaningful and lasting learning, transforming their reality and enhancing their drive for self-improvement and self-esteem. We foster the development of leadership, innovation, kindness, and social awareness in each of our students.
Our pedagogical approach, the Knotion IMPACT Learning Model, combines the architecture of Design Thinking with the creation of solutions to relevant and significant transdisciplinary challenges. This generates active learning based on concrete actions, preparing our students to face real-world challenges with confidence and creativity.
The Knotion IMPACT Learning Model consists of four phases, allowing students to develop the competencies they need:

IDENTIFY
- Recall prior knowledge.
- Participate in positive learning experiences through questioning their own reality and context.
- Understand globally relevant topics, both inside and outside the classroom, as well as their physical and emotional needs.
- Recognize the problem to be addressed.
- Create awareness of their responsibility as agents of change

MAPPING
- Understand the causes and consequences of the problem.
- Research in time and context, using all available sources of information.
- Seek information, synthesize, and process to understand the problem.
- Investigate and analyze existing proposals that have been implemented to solve the problem.

PROPOSE
- Collaborate to plan the implementation of their proposal.
- Design prototypes of innovative and creative solutions to positively and sustainably impact their environment.
- Plan methods for implementing their ideas to solve the problem in collaborative and leadership contexts.

ACT
- Analyze the ideas they implement to solve the problem.
- Implement and adapt solutions through actions.
- Apply the solution, generating a real difference to change the world.
- Evaluate the results obtained and share the experience gained.
Smartium International School’s kindergarten program offers children a comprehensive education where, in addition to learning essential disciplines, they explore the cultures of 8 different countries each grade. This experience promotes respect, empathy, and an understanding of diversity, helping students develop a global mindset from an early age.
